This would allow you to work in a range of local Special Needs schools that meet the vast needs of children across the area you live in. You would be able to experience the life of a Special Needs Teacher in each of the schools and discover for yourself where your strengths are.

What you'll do as a Special Needs Teacher:
- Implement tailored learning plans and adapted teaching materials
- Implement behaviour plans and procedures
- Foster a nurturing, inclusive, and positive classroom environment
- Monitor student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, teaching assistants, and parents
What you need to be as a Special Needs Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Flexibility and creativity to adapting to student needs
- Experience with special educational needs (desirable, not essential)
Information on the Special Needs Teacher role:
Location- Tonbridge, Kent
Pay- £130-180 per day. This is equivalent to £650-900 per week Full-Time. Day rate is dependent on qualifications, experience, and length of contract with school.
Hours- 8.30am-3.30pm Monday-Friday. Full-time and part-time positions available
Contract- Day-to-day supply work, short-term contract, long-term contract, temp to perm, and permanent roles available
Year- Key Stages 1-5 (Years 1-13, ages 5-19)
Qualifications- QTS essential
