Teaching Assistant
Haywards Heath (Full-Time / Part-Time Available)
We are seeking a friendly and supportive Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Haywards Heath. This role offers flexible working options, with both full-time and part-time opportunities available.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will support teachers in the classroom and help students stay engaged with their learning. The role may involve working with different year groups and providing 1:1 support for pupils who require additional help.
Key responsibilities:
- Assisting teachers with classroom activities and lesson delivery
- Supporting students individually or in small groups
- Providing 1:1 support where required
- Helping to maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Encouraging students to stay focused and confident in their learning
We are looking for someone who:
- Enjoys working with children and supporting their development
- Is patient, approachable, and reliable
- Can adapt to different classroom settings and student needs
- Has strong communication and teamwork skills
- Is enthusiastic about helping students succeed
Previous experience working in a school or with children is helpful but not essential, as training and support can be provided.
