Nursery Manager

A Nursery Manager is required for a Nursery in Uckfield. This is a full time permanent role, with an immediate start.

Cadidate Specification

This role will suit an individual already within a management role in a Nursery or an ambitious practitioner looking to take the next step in their career. You must hold a Level 3 (or higher) qualification in Childcare. You must possess excellent leadership skills. A team player is a must, as you will be joining a friendly and established team. Knowledge of the Montessori practice would be desirable.

About the role

The Nursery Manager is responsible for the day to day running of the setting. They will ensure the individual rooms are safe, welcoming and stimulating for all the children. As well as supporting children across the age range, the Nursery Manager will also manage the staff team. This role will include creating and managing staff rotas, training and development and staff well being.

About the Nursery

The Nursery is rated 'Outstanding'. They follow a Montessori ethos, instilling the values in everyday learning and activities. The children who attend the setting are aged from 6 months old to 5 years old. They have excellent facilities available, both inside and outside. The nursery is open 51 weeks of the year, between 8am to 6pm.
