About the School

This is a great Nursery based in Sevenoaks .They wanted to give their children the best start in life, which to us meant better, more exciting care, stimulating environments, and lots of opportunities for play, interaction and development, at their own pace and in their own space. They created a safe and enriching home-from-home environment filled with opportunities to learn. They recruited passionate staff with boundless enthusiasm for their work and a never-ending commitment to the children. It was a place where children's emotional needs were met, their interests were nurtured, and their individuality was respected, which made it somewhere parents loved too.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Previous experience working and caring for children under 3 to5 years (preferred not essential).
• A willingness to undertake relevant childcare qualifications in the future (preferred).
• Passion to deliver high quality childcare and exciting learning opportunities.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• You will ensure every individual child's needs are met, including supporting parents with any SEND/ASL needs.
• Prioritise the safeguarding of children.
• Speak up against practices that don't support safeguarding or their core values.
• Build close relationships with parents and carers and report daily on their child's time at Nursery.
• Take ownership of the observation, assessments and planning for your key children in line with EYFS and provide developmentally challenging next steps.
• Remain up to date with our childcare policies and procedures.
• Maintain staff to child ratios.
• Ensure we encourage and praise children's development and achievements.
