Are you a kind, caring, and reliable person who enjoys supporting young people? We are looking for a Night Support Assistant to join our dedicated residential team in Bexhill. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a difference to the lives of children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
About the Role
As a Night Support Assistant, you will play a key role in providing overnight care and support for pupils and students aged 5-19 within our residential setting. You'll help ensure their wellbeing, comfort, and safety throughout the night, offering reassurance and practical support as needed.
Working as a Night Support Assistant, you'll:
- Provide high-quality, person-centred care during night hours.
- Support pupils/students with bedtime and morning routines.
- Monitor and record individual needs in line with care plans.
- Promote independence, dignity, and respect at all times.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and follow safeguarding policies.
About You
To be successful as a Night Support Assistant, you'll be patient, compassionate, and positive, with a genuine commitment to helping young people thrive.
- Essential qualification: Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
- Experience working with children or young people with SEND is desirable.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team are essential.

Shift Details
The Night Support Assistant will work 22 hours per week, across two nights (10:00pm-9:00am), Sunday to Thursday, term time only.
