Term Time Teachers are recruiting for Forest School Leaders working every Saturday from 8:30am-2:00pm beginning on the 23rd of April. This role is working for a school rated Ofsted "good" in establishing a new Saturday club. This role will be suitable for someone who has a creative flair and doesn't mind getting their hands dirty in an outdoor setting.

To achieve this, self-discipline and tolerance of others. They recognise the importance of good home/school links and of the partnership with parents.

The ideal candidate must:

  • Be enthusiastic and have a sense of fun
  • Be adventurous and enjoy the outdoors
  • Have CACHE Level 2 or 3
  • Have experience working as a Teaching Assistant
  • Be available to work on Saturdays

About the job:

You will be responsible for leading the Forest School, ensuring that a high level of pastoral care is maintained and safeguarding their Health and Safety throughout their time at the club. You will be looking after students through the many activities they will be doing during the day. This role requires enthusiasm, passion, energy and a desire to lead by example. You will be a role model for the young people, ensuring they leave with positive memories that will last them a lifetime.
