We are working with a friendly and welcoming primary school in Tonbridge, Kent, who are seeking a reliable and proactive Caretaker / Site Manager to join their team on a temporary basis.

This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining a safe, clean and well-run school environment. Flexibility is available, with full-time hours or mornings only up to 1:00pm considered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Opening and securing the school site

• General maintenance, minor repairs and basic DIY

• Health & safety checks and compliance

• Ensuring the site is clean, safe and well presented

• Liaising with staff and external contractors

• Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the school premises

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Previous experience as a caretaker, site manager or similar role (school-based experience desirable)

• A practical, hands-on approach with good problem-solving skills

• Strong awareness of health & safety procedures

• Reliability, flexibility and a positive attitude

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Candidates registering with Academics Ltd will have to apply for an Enhanced DBS and/or overseas police check where appropriate
